DST is meant to be gentle and provide stability like Pilates, with dynamic rotational movements like Gyrotonics machines, and the excitement and group fun of an aerobics class.

DST CLASSES

DST classes are conducted in gyms, studios or outdoors. DST can also be experienced on treadmills as a way to improve running and jogging style. DST incorporates existing fitness equipment like stability balls, bands, and proprioception and balancing devices to further enhance the concept of dynamic stability.

DST classes are designed, initially, for users of MBT to be able to obtain further training in gait, posture, and exercise that go beyond the exercises provided in manufacturer materials.

DST can serve customers who require more therapy than exercise, by providing one-to-one or small group sessions (1-3 people). DST can also serve customers who desire more of a fitness workout by offering 3 classes in a progressive series that cost from £7 - £25 per class with 3 - 7 participants, depending on room size and on duration and level of intensity. Those classes are:

  • DST Basics of Walking and Running
    45min - 1hr
    £7 - £10/person
  • DST Basics of Stretching and Toning
    1hr - 1.30hr
    £10 - £20/person
  • DST Basic Workout
    1 hr - 2 hr
    £10 - £25/person

Prices may vary per country and per Instructor.

DST has created a series of walking and running classes specially designed for MBT footwear called MBT Walking (Max Body Toning) and Dynamic Running Method (The Drum). These classes can be attended with or without MBTs.

Many DST Instructors also offer very specialized Posture and Gait sessions to help you improve how you walk in normal shoes, and to improve your use and understanding of MBT footwear.
